Everyone doesn’t like being wrong

Everyone doesn’t like being wrong. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s part of human nature/brain that we don’t want to be seen as wrong by other people. That’s why we argue with each other. Everyday I see some argument between my family. Sometimes my family even argue about something that’s entirely not important for our family! Such as debating about someone in our city, about some famous people in the world (which don’t know us)..

Why? Why we don’t like being wrong? For example, consider this case. I and my mom arguing about what’s happened last month. We have different version about what happened. Of course at least one of us has to be wrong, right? And if some of us has to be wrong sometimes, I think it’s better to just be able to accept that we will be wrong sometimes.

Think about this. Even if our memory serves us wrong, that won’t kill us. That’s not important at all. Why we need to be mad or embarrassed when we wrong?

This also brings me to the religion debate. About what religion is the best, what religion is the most true religion out there. Think. Let’s say A was born in Moslem family, and taught as a Moslem since he was child. Then B was born in Christian family, and taught as a Christian since he was child. Then C was born in Hindu family, and taught as a Hindu since he was child. IF there is a BEST RELIGION out there, of course all of them want their religion to be the BEST RELIGION, won’t they?

Otherwise they would feel that all their life they were taught a fraud, a lie? So of course from the back of their mind, from their sub conscious mind, they would argue and fight for that their religion is the BEST RELIGION out there.

So maybe it’s just better to move back a bit, won’t we? Maybe it’s us who are wrong, not they? Or sometimes maybe it’s them who are wrong, not us. Just argue healthily, don’t ever argue so fiercely until you want to hate them or you want to kill them. DON’T. Just try to engage in healthy conversation. Because maybe it’s us who are wrong..
